For a long time now, there has been a common, well-known pizza joint that has been popular among downtown Orlando frequenters. Everyone has waited in line for far too long for a slice there and paid $4 for their trouble. No more, I say.
The best pizza in Orlando is just a block away, at Panino's. As an unbiased, non-compensated bystander, I let my taste buds do the deciding.
Now, in all fairness, it is a close race; but, nevertheless a race that the small shop on Orange Avenue has won by more than a nose. Toss in their FREE beer offer with the purchase of two slices and my heart is theirs.
What can I say? I'm a sucker for a great slice. My New York roots won't let me love the "other" pizza available downtown, despite it's long-standing relationship with downtowners.
So, it's been written. The BEST pizza in downtown Orlando is Panino's. Enjoy.

Seriously, Panino's pizza taste's like a Wal-Mart generic brand. Gross! NYPD Pizza at the Plaza behind Urban Flats is the best pizza downtown and they don't charge ridiculous amounts of money like Gino's high price ripoff crap either.
I don't really know if they have the best pizza, but I do know they deliver until 4am. Amazing!
It's ok, I go there & Dan's Because Gino's is way overpriced and they are very rude. They make you feel like they are doing you a favor by waiting on you.
this place totally sucks for delivery. yes, they say they deliver until 5 am which is great. however, i placed an order at about 3 and was told it would take 45 minutes. after 45 minutes i called and asked about my order and was told it would be there in 10 minutes. after 20 more minutes i called again to cancel my order and was put on hold and then hung up on. we'll see if they try and charge me for something they were never going to deliver. horrible, rude place.
